The PenWorks of the Word Blog Tour begins today, and I am grateful to welcome you into this month of shared creativity. Every October, something shifts in the rhythm of our days. The air cools. The pace slows. Our attention sharpens. It becomes easier to notice the quiet work God is doing beneath the surface of our lives. That is the spirit behind this tour. A gathering of writers and readers who believe that Scripture still breathes life into imagination and still shapes the stories we tell.
This year, more than fifteen authors will be contributing reflections, devotionals, behind-the-scenes insights, and thoughtful conversations about faith and creativity. Each voice brings something distinct. Some will explore how Scripture guides their storytelling. Others will share personal moments that shaped their writing journey. A few will offer book features or special posts prepared specifically for this event. Every contribution is meant to encourage you, stir your imagination, and remind you that God continues to speak through His people in ways both gentle and powerful.
PenWorks of the Word has always been about more than writing. It is about formation. It is about learning to listen. It is about letting Scripture settle into the places where we create, so that what rises from our pens carries truth, hope, and beauty. My prayer is that this tour becomes a shared experience for you. Something that meets you where you are. Something that reminds you that faith and creativity aren't separate paths. They are threads woven together by the Spirit.
As you read through the posts this month, take your time. Let the words breathe. Let the reflections sit with you. Allow yourself to be surprised by the ways God uses story to illuminate what might otherwise remain unseen. Whether you are a writer, a reader, or someone simply curious about faith‑rooted creativity, I am honored that you are here.
