PenWorks of the Word Blog Tour | Closing Thoughts

Greetings,

It is a bittersweet day in the world of PenWorks of the Word Blog Tour. Today marks our last official post… well, aside from the upcoming announcement of our awesome giveaway winners, which will be coming soon. With nearly 5,000 total entries, that’s absolutely incredible.

A huge thank-you goes out to all the amazing authors who participated in this year’s tour. It’s been a joy coordinating everything and getting to know those who left comments wherever these posts were shared. I’m excited to see where this leads when the next PenWorks of the Word Blog Tour launches.

Over the past 30 days, so much has unfolded. This was not just a blog tour; it is a testimony to the heart behind Christian storytelling. Each author brought something unique to the table, whether it was a fresh genre twist, a powerful testimony, or a quiet moment of spiritual insight.

We’ve been reminded that faith-based writing comes in many forms, and that when we lift each other up, we build something bigger than ourselves. It’s been a joy to watch what began as a simple idea grow into the beginnings of a community excited about a faith that is truly living and active in so many vibrant ways.

As we begin wrapping up this tour, I’m excited to shift gears in a few ways, while still holding on to what we’re building through the PenWorks of the Word community. There will be more guest posts here on The Gathering Room, and Jon and I are diving into some great conversations around the book of 1st John. The journey doesn’t end here. It continues on, and I can’t wait for you all to be part of this next chapter.

In the meantime, the PenWorks of the Word tab will remain. And even though the giveaway winners will be announced in the coming days, you’re welcome to revisit any of the posts from the tour. From devotional insights to featured book reviews, each one has something to teach us about a faith that is living and active in the world around us.

See you in the pages,

M.J.E.
